Packing light and smart makes a trip to Turks & Caicos much easier, especially if you’re staying along Grace Bay and walking everywhere. I almost always travel with a carry-on when possible, and this packing list includes everything I bring to stay organized, comfortable, and beach-ready without overpacking.

 Carry-On & Organization Essentials

  • Reusable compression packing bags – perfect for saving space in a carry-on
     (Compression Packing Bags)
  • Packing cubes to keep swimwear, outfits, and sleepwear organized
    (Packing Cubes)
  • Lightweight carry-on suitcase
  • Foldable laundry bag or packing pouch

Compression bags + packing cubes are my top two must-haves for Caribbean trips.

Turks & Caicos is all about beach days, calm water, and relaxed afternoons.

  • Waterproof beach tote

Think breathable, lightweight, and easy.

  • 5-6 swimsuits
  • Cover-ups or sarongs
  • Casual daytime outfits (linen shorts, tanks, sundresses)
  • One dressy outfit for dinner
  • Lightweight sweater or wrap (restaurants can be cool at night)
  • Sleepwear & undergarments
  • Comfortable walking sandals, flip flops and a pair of dressy sandals or wedges for evenings

🔌 Tech & Travel Extras

Small items that are easy to forget but very helpful.

  • Portable charger for long beach days

  • Headphones or earbuds
  • Charging cables

Turks & Caicos is relaxed and casual. You really don’t need to overpack. Most days revolve around the beach, great food, and slow mornings, so prioritize comfort and simplicity.
